7:13p Chicago Drummers Hey all! My name is Jay and I'm currently a lead guitarist looking for a drummer for my newly formed band, Big Brother Muscle, here in Chicago. www.myspace.com/bigbrothermuscle The band consists of myself and my bass player so far. We've written roughly about 15-20 songs within the past few months and are currently getting things moving. We both played in a band called The Code Kids, and now we are looking to do something much more energetic and heavier. Our influences include ZZ Top, Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears, The Screaming Blue Messiahs, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, The White Stripes, Neil Young & Crazy Horse, Okkervil River, A Place To Bury Strangers and countless others. Basically we want anyone who wants to rock out hard, have a great time and offer an opinion in both songwriting and musicianship. If this conflicts with the community guidelines, I apologize. If there are any drummers in Chicago looking for a band, definitely check us out and see what you think. Demos are a bit crappy, but what band's demos starting out aren't the best? 9:55p seeking advice Well, I have been meaning to seek advice on this for a while, so here it is. I am highly interested in the mind and how it works. I am also highly interested in psychedelics, the unconsciousness, and many other things that are of similar topics. I want a career where I would be able to experiment and research these things. Hopefully, run experiments on other human and animal subjects, as well as myself. M.A.P.S.(multidisciplinary association for psychedelic studies) is an example of an organization I would love to work with. I've noticed there is a field of psychology called Experimental Psychology. Is this the path I take towards my career goal? if it is, where can I find schools that have this program? also, is this the field I should be going for? or, should I be going towards a completely different field? Any advice and help is greatly appreciated. Also, if any of you had any recommendations of things I should read or get into that you think i may be interested in, I'm all open ears.

ucf [ thagrinch ]

6:06p Next semester I have to take a Spanish class. The book that I need for this class is Anda!Curso Elemental UCF Edition. I was wondering if anyone (a) has this book I can buy or (b) knows if I can use a non UCF edition of this book. I'm trying to save a few dollars so I was hoping to buy the non UCF edition if possible or find it cheaper from someone. Thanks!
